New homes found for Hobbit and Fresco!
Fresco and Hobbit were rescued by the RSPCA from a house they were called to. There were 90 dogs of various breeds including Schipperkies.
Both dogs were with the RSPCA in Birmingham and they have now found loving homes.

BREED HEALTH SURVEY
As you will all be aware, the Club health group sub-committee decided to conduct a brief survey on Schipperke health in the U.K. prior to drawing up the specific health plan which will ultimately be required by The Kennel Club.
80 questionnaires were issued in March / April but sadly, only 18 were returned. It is impossible to draw any firm conclusions from such a small study sample, particularly since almost half of the respondents had never bred a litter and the committee now needs to consider carefully what the next step should be.
